Regional coach

Joanna is a certified CanSkate coach, who is also working towards her certification in regional coaching. She started helping with skating back in 2018 as a program assistant with the Prince of Wales Skating Club in St. John's, NL. Since moving to British Columbia, she has been with the Coquitlam Skating Club in both coaching and her personal skating where she also competes at a star 9/10 level. On the side, she skates with the Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Club's Junior Team "

As a coach, I really enjoy teaching all the fun things that you're able to do on the ice, and keeping a positive environment for all skaters to enjoy the sport.
