A Regional Development Team is formed every year in each of the five Regions of the BC/YT Section-Skate Canada. These Regional Teams, which are part of the BC/YT Section’s skater development program, enhance the development of the skating athlete by offering the opportunity to participate in skating-related events within a team environment.

In addition to the camaraderie that develops among the Team skaters throughout the competitive season, the RDT program provides an avenue for skaters to be more involved in talent identification, evaluation and developmental activities.
